We seek a skilled Service Engineer to join our national service team, specifically covering the South West of England. This role involves attending to customer breakdowns and handling the installation and commissioning of new weighing, traceability, and inspection equipment. As our customers range from small manufacturers to large, multi-million-pound companies across the food, chemical, cash, and pharmaceutical sectors, it is crucial to provide exceptional service and support for their essential equipment.

The Role
Field-based position, covering the South West of England.
A company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, tools, and uniform will be provided.
You will work closely with our service administration team to attend customer sites within your region for breakdown repairs.
You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer locations.
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure customers' equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
Provide recommendations to customers regarding upgrades or replacement equipment.
We actively support your professional growth by offering training courses and development opportunities.
Skills & Experience
Ideal Candidate
At least 3 years of experience in a similar field service role.
A willingness to travel throughout the South West of England.
An interest in PC-based systems.
A strong customer-focused attitude.
Proactive and passionate about your work, with a willingness to take initiative.
Ability to sell non-system-based scales when appropriate.
Required Knowledge & Qualifications
Weighing industry experience
3 years' experience in a similar role
Full clean driving license
A DBS certificate
Desirable
SPA Passport to Safety (within 3 years)
