Service Engineer

Job Introduction

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a service engineer to join a family business in Bearwood. Working on specialised Fire Protection equipment throughout the UK and Ireland.

We are seeking an engineer who has some electrical knowledge to help support our growing business.

Location:

Bearwood, BH11 for office. Travelling frequently in UK and Ireland

Responsibilities:

Working with our engineers who will train you on the equipment

Completing test records for the system services

Installing new systems

Solving operation faults and repairing

Answering incoming telephone calls

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

Electrical knowledge 18th edition BS7671 would be an advantage

Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft packages such as Office 365, OneDrive and Outlook

Attention to detail with the ability to multitask

Good telephone manner and customer service skills

Ability to follow specified procedures and instructions

Be self-motivated and enjoy being part of a team

Be confident with hand tools and power tools

Must be 30 years plus for insurance purposes and hold a full clean driving license.

As working at height is required should be physically able

Hours of work:

Full time role - 35 hours a week minimum contract, 20 days paid holiday p.a. plus bank holidays

Will be travel and job diary dictated and will involve some weekend work and additional hours

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00 per hour, (32k p.a.) depending on experience
