The Opportunity
Seeking a
Service Engineer
from a
mechanical background
to join the field service team. This is a hands-on role with full training provided, offering the opportunity to upskill into electrical and control systems over time.
If you have some hands on experience working on mechanical machinery, fault finding, labouring, practical work and are seeking training then please apply.
Potential Backgrounds
(not limited to):
Agricultural machinery maintenance/repair
Conveyor systems / material handling equipment
Plant fitting (e.g. diggers, excavators, heavy plant)
Shift fitter in a manufacturing/factory environment
Installation or repair of site equipment such as wheel washes
Key Responsibilities
Carry out installation, servicing, and repairs of perimeter security equipment
Perform mechanical fault-finding and repairs on site
Use hand tools and equipment (e.g. Stihl saws for cutting induction loops - full training provided)
Assist with electrical testing where possible (basic knowledge such as using a multimeter would be an advantage)
Participate in the company call-out rota to support clients with urgent issues
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure safe, efficient service delivery
About You
a mechanical background with proven hands-on experience
Basic electrical knowledge (e.g. testing voltage with a multimeter) is desirable but not essential
Comfortable working outdoors and on varied sites
Willing to learn and progress into electrical/controls training in the long term
Full UK driving licence required
