We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and maintenance services for our products and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. The Service Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, both on-site and remotely. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Prepare detailed reports on service activities, including findings and recommendations for improvements. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and customer interactions. Stay updated on product developments and industry trends to provide informed support. Assist in training customers on the proper use of equipment and software. Work closely with the engineering team to provide feedback on product performance and areas for enhancement.

Qualifications

A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred; relevant experience will also be considered. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software related to engineering services. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory. A valid driving licence is desirable for travel to client sites as required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
