Service & Install Technician

Job Description

This role will provide an installation, service and repair solution into private homes and commercial properties. Delivering a first class service, this hands on role will be required to deliver safe, timely and quality installations every time.



Resolving logistical or technical installation or service issues that may arise through each project.



This role will be the point of contact for assigned customers during the installation process and must ensure they are briefed and kept up to date with information as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:



Delivering and installing fitness equipment into private homes and commercial gyms Managing work requests efficiently and effectively and within an agreed timescale Providing diagnostics and root-cause analysis of product failures and/or quality control issues in a timely fashion Co-ordination with the Technical Support Manager in providing service and repairs for customers Complete full job reports to ensure job has been completed to customer satisfaction Support with showroom installations and store moves & installations Process and support with ad-hoc returns and service fixes and any other jobs as may be required to meet the
demands of the business
Continuous personal and professional development within area of expertise

Who you will work with:



Liaising with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth after sales service and installation experience;
predominantly the Sales and Customer Care team. Collaborating with the Warehouse team to prepare and manage

service delivery effectively and efficiently.

You will need:



A full, UK driving licence Mechanical/electrical knowledge and experience of using a range of tools A good understanding of health and safety within a service environment Confident communication and collaboration skills Excellent customer service and problem solving skills Previous experience within the installation market.
