SALARY RANGE: 35 - 40,000 Dependent on experience
MAIN PURPOSE:
To undertake minor refurbishment work and repairs for service customers, as well as some routine servicing
KEY ACTIVITIES:
On site working predominantly in the south of England and in central London
Maintenance works / alterations / plumbing
Small works / refurbishment projects
To undertake comprehensive pool surveys which follow a specific format
To undertake initial site inspections to determine problems and liaise with service manager over how to overcome these so client can be quoted accordingly
To assist the service manager with managing refurbishment and small works projects where necessary and procurement of specific or specialist parts where applicable
Fault finding and resolving problems / electrical and mechanical
Aiding contracts team when required or as service schedule allows in general swimming pool installations and commissioning works
General other on site works as required
Service assistance / call outs if required
Liaising/ interacting with clients and or housekeepers
Opening up / closing down outdoor pools at the beginning / end of the season
Servicing of indoor and outdoor swimming pools and all associated plant where sickness or annual leave may require
Liaising / interacting with clients and or housekeepers
Checking correct operation of equipment in the plant room and in pool hall including automatic covers
Carrying out water sample testing
Opening up / closing down outdoor pools at the beginning / end of the season
Manual and automatic chemistry correction and associated maintenance of automatic dosing equipment or treatment plant
Key Skills Required
Previous experience in swimming pool servicing
To be well presented
Good Communication skills
Ability to communicate detailed and accurate information
Build good working relationships with other parties both internal and external
Full and clean driving license
Additional preferred skills/ qualifications
Experience in automatic chemical dosing systems
ISPE qualification (or equivalent)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Basic understanding of electrics
London driving experience
Pool construction and or plumbing experience
Electrical experience
Tiling experience
Level 3 City and Guilds Electrical installation
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
