Join Our Team as a Service Manager for Residential Services!




Are you an inspirational leader with a passion for children's residential services? We have an exciting opportunity for you to lead our Residential service area, overseeing up to four children's homes (potentially up to eight if we expand the residential estate).


As our Service Manager, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring high-quality care and service delivery. You'll have the chance to develop senior-level contacts with Ofsted and make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

What You'll Bring to the Role:




As an ideal candidate, you will bring a wealth of experience and skills to the role.

Strong, supportive leadership and effective management skills Experience in managing a team in children's services and/or residential care settings. Ability to develop senior-level contacts with Ofsted and positive relationships with commissioning teams Professional responsibility for up to 8 FTE direct reports Commitment to meeting Nottinghamshire County Council's statutory duty to provide and promote contact between children who are looked after and their families Ability to provide safe, high-quality services and customer service while achieving value for money Skill in translating strategic priorities into operational plans Ability to shape and influence an environment that enables excellent practice Strategic leadership in identifying and implementing opportunities for service areas

The ideal candidate will have an approachable personality and a passion for working with children and young people. You will be able to identify opportunities for these service areas while taking a strategic lead in their implementation and development.
