Staff within Safe Accommodation

Main purpose:
The postholder will support the Director of Operations to support, motivate and develop staff in safe accommodation to enable them to deliver a client led, trauma informed, safe and diverse service.
Role Specific:
Management of all safe accommodation services in Hertfordshire
Management of:
a. Senior Practitioners.
b. Administration Support Officer.
c. Specialist Drugs and Alcohol Practitioner working with partners to meet the needs of the clients.
d. Physical and Mental Health IDVA who will provide the Tier 3 support to clients.
Working in partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies, ensuring that safety is kept central to multi-agency work and the response to domestic abuse.
Management of in reach services providing activities and therapies to clients.
Assessing and monitoring the quality-of-service delivery so clients receive safe and appropriate client led support and that their voice is evident throughout.
Ensuring the safe accommodation contract is delivered in line with the terms and conditions of the contract.
Ensuring compliance with H&S within the safe accommodation.

Essential Experience and Knowledge:
Experience of managing safe accommodation services
Experience of multi-agency working
Experience of managing staff
Knowledge of a variety of computer packages, including databases
Proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally

Qualifications
IDVA or ISVA Qualification
OTHER ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Car driver with access to vehicle
Subject to Enhanced DBS Check
Ability to work outside the normal office hours working flexibly within the shift pattern allocated by the line manager
