We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service/Aftersales Manager or posibly a Service Advior to join our small team here at Robinsons of Rochdale. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the aftersales department or working within the aftersales department as a team player, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage customer inquiries, resolve issues, and promote additional services.
Duties
Manage the aftersales team to ensure high standards of customer service are met.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding products and services.
Implement upselling strategies to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
Oversee cash handling processes within the department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions for reporting purposes.
Conduct regular training sessions for staff to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
Requirements
Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within an aftersales environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge to assist customers effectively with technical queries.
Excellent upselling skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Proficient in cash handling procedures with attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
