Service Manager - Supported Living (Wolverhampton & Sandwell Area)
We are looking for a fantastic
Service Manager
to oversee the day-to-day running of an established supported living business. Our scheme is based in Wolverhampton and the Sandwell area. You will join an established provider specialising in supported living and residential care for young adults aged 16 years and above with learning disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and complex behaviours.
Working closely with the senior management team, this is a
non-registered role
where you will oversee the operational responsibilities for your service. This includes care and support planning, recruitment, mentoring, staff supervisions and management, rota management, and liaising with external agencies.
You will be a
hands-on manager
, willing to go the extra mile for your service and the people you support. You and your team will ensure the quality of your service and the care delivered is outstanding, driving positive outcomes and maintaining a homely, welcoming environment.
PLEASE NOTE: Our clients have complex mental health conditions, including forensic backgrounds and dual diagnoses such as schizophrenia. The level of support ranges from 1:1 to 4:1, and some clients are transitioning from secure units. DO NOT APPLY if you are unable to work with individuals with complex mental health needs and forensic histories.
Requirements:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you
must

Have proven experience in supported living for young adults (16+) with learning disabilities, forensic mental health conditions, and complex behaviours.
Possess
extensive knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
.
Demonstrate the ability to
lead and manage teams
, and work effectively with external agencies.
Be
robust, compassionate
, and able to
think on your feet
.
Have
extensive experience
working with individuals with
challenging behaviours
and in
forensic mental health
settings.
Hold a
Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management
, or be currently working towards it.
Have a
full UK driving licence
and access to your own vehicle.
Be
flexible
and willing to share
on-call duties
.
