We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join the Service department at our Head Office just outside Thame, Oxfordshire. Your role will be to lead the department, managing a team of approximately 20 Technicians, to ensure the smooth running of the workshop.?
Your main duties will include:?
Utilising our scheduler and planning tools, allocating internal and walk-in work for the technicians based on their expertise and skill, following the work through to invoicing
WIP Management
Managing all people-related activity for the workshop, including regular appraisals and performance review procedures
Coaching and mentoring members of the team offering regular feedback to employees on performance
Administration/approval of time-clock information and the processing of overtime
Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to in relation to HR & health and safety
Maintaining strong communication with our Central Service Team, ensuring work scheduled within the workshop is completed in a timely manner, to the standards required
Developing retail sales revenue through the promotion of both the Service and Parts departments to both existing and new customers where appropriate
Ensuring our customer service levels meet our customers' needs whilst maintaining a first-class standard of service at all times
