NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a
Service Support Assistant
to join our team
on a 6 month Fixed-Term basis
during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first and to deliver against our strategic objectives.
This role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience in the Customer Engagement Function, contribute to meaningful work for our customers, and grow within a collaborative environment.
As a Service Support Assistant, you'll be instrumental in supporting our operational and administrative functions.
Every day you will ...
Provide high-quality administrative support across Customer Engagement Teams
Manage communications such as our field alerts, pulse posts, trust impact statements, and ICS Manager informs
Process sample requests
Assist with data entry, reporting, and record-keeping to ensure accuracy and compliance
Support project coordination and tracking progress against key milestones
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maintain smooth service operations
Respond to queries and escalating issues where appropriate
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and service enhancements
Support with the onboarding of new staff into the Customer Engagement function
