Overview

Based on our customer site at Airbus (Broughton, North Wales, UK), The Service Technician would be required to work on their own and also be part of our onsite team. The mainstream activity is the service a variety of mechanical assets, indoor and outdoor. The main skills we are looking for are inspection and fault finding; being able to report a fault on the asset and helping to provide a solution. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics systems would be an advantage.

Duties

- Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and perform repairs

- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to solve problems and seek improvement

- Utilize skills in mechanical engineering and apply safety standards

- Provide excellent customer service while addressing technical concerns

- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality of systems

Experience

- Proven experience as a Service Technician/Mechanical Engineer with BTEC or NVQ Level qualification

- Strong mechanical knowledge

- Hands on experience in hardware and software - previous use of SAP or equivalent (assets, PPM and spares management) desirable.

- Customer service skills to effectively communicate technical information

8.5hr shift with regular Overtime available
