Vehicle Technician

Up to 35,000 basic (depending on experience) + 3,000 OTE bonus

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

The Opportunity:

We're seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician with a minimum of 2 years' experience to join our growing team. If you're confident with the basics but ready to expand your knowledge and take on more responsibility, this role is a great step forward. You'll be working in a busy, friendly workshop alongside experienced technicians in a supportive environment where every day brings something different.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine servicing and general maintenance across various makes and models Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and software Complete mechanical and electrical repairs including brakes, suspension, exhaust, and steering Perform MOT pre-checks and assist with testing (if qualified) Identify wear, damage, or safety issues during inspections Follow manufacturer standards and health & safety procedures Accurately complete all service and repair records Work closely with service advisors and customers to explain issues and repair solutions

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning Relevant qualifications or certifications (preferred, not essential)
