We are seeking a experienced

Service Transition Lead

on a contract basis (

Hybrid - 2 to 3 Days in office)

to manage service transition and change across critical IT services. The role will drive service design, governance, and risk management from early project initiation through OAT to go-live. You will work closely with SIAM, 3rd party providers, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions into BAU support. This position demands strong ITIL expertise, stakeholder management, and proven experience in service transition for business-critical systems.

Skills :-

5+ years experience in Service Transition/Change roles with ITIL background Lead end-to-end service transition and change for business-critical IT services Ensure ITIL best practices, governance and assurance are embedded across projects Deliver service design outputs including NFRs, support models, and OAT requirements Collaborate with SIAM partners and 3rd party providers to onboard and manage services Review and negotiate 3rd party SLAs to ensure compliance and service coverage Attend Technical Design Reviews to validate service readiness and support models Partner with IT Project Delivery and Business Change teams to enable smooth go-live Drive continual improvement in service transition and assurance documentation Maintain accurate Service Catalogue reflecting new and changed services Track cost, effort and timelines; escalate risks to avoid unplanned spend Build strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and service providers Communicate technical changes in clear business terms to stakeholders Strong exposure to SIAM, outsourced and cloud service providers (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) ITIL Foundation required; ITIL Lifecycle/Prince2/Agile/DevOps desirable
