The Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled
Sessional Hospitality Tutor
to deliver engaging, practical hospitality lessons to our students. This role is ideal for someone with industry knowledge, teaching experience (or a willingness to develop it), and a desire to make a real impact.
In addition to delivering hospitality sessions, the successful candidate will also support with the preparation and provision of
school lunches
, helping embed real-world skills into the daily routine and modelling high standards of food hygiene and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver practical and engaging hospitality lessons to small groups of students.
Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with individual needs.
Support students in developing essential kitchen, service and workplace skills.
Assist with preparing and serving school lunches, ensuring a safe and positive food environment.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety and classroom organisation.
Work collaboratively with staff to promote a calm, nurturing learning environment.
Contribute to student progress reviews and support plans as required.
About You
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Experience in hospitality, catering or a related field.
A teaching or training background (formal or informal), or a willingness to learn.
A food hygiene qualification (or willingness to complete one).
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
Patience, creativity and a supportive attitude toward young people.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
