The Job




In response to the university's 2030 strategy, Wrexham university's business school is seeking to grow its sessional pool of academic and professional individuals, with expertise, subject knowledge and experience in leadership of business health and social care, public service leadership and public sector, to support developing projects across health and public sectors.


If you have academic experience in Masters level higher education teaching, or you are a senior manager or leader with extensive expertise who is considering of adding academia to your career portfolio in health or social care leadership, public services leadership, and public sector leadership, we would like to hear from you. The role is to support teaching and programme growth outputs and will be hybrid due to a need for some on campus requirements.



Requirements:

A UK post graduate qualification in health, public sector or services leadership, or a relevant, inter-related discipline. Senior-level transferable leadership knowledge and skills within health, public sector or services leadership. Proven record of longstanding leadership capabilities. Experience in post graduate teaching, delivery and assessment, or willingness and commitment to develop. Evidence of excellent organisational and personal management skills. HEA fellowship or an HE teaching qualification is desirable. Evidence of excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with the business school team. Good IT proficiency and experience of using IT resources.
