About the Role

As a

Sessional Therapeutic Residential Childcare Practitioner

, you will:

Provide consistent, nurturing and child-centred care within a therapeutic residential environment Support young people with their daily routines, education, personal care, meals and activities Encourage participation in outdoor, creative and therapeutic experiences Build positive, trusting relationships with children who may have experienced trauma Work alongside the permanent care team to maintain stability, structure and safeguarding standards Keep accurate, Ofsted-compliant records and contribute to high-quality residential care

Earn around 250 per 24.5-hour shift, inclusive of a 60 sleep-in allowance.

What We're Looking For



Experience in

residential childcare, youth work, social care, education

or a similar supportive environment Ability to support children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs Calm, resilient and compassionate approach to care Strong communication and teamwork skills

Full UK driving licence

- essential Willingness to work long-day shifts including sleep-ins
