Eden House is looking to recruit a Sessional Therapist.



Residential Addiction's care - helping our clients to rediscover life beyond addiction. Eden House is the first service in our brand new Division of Residential Addictions. Branded under "Flourish", Eden House will be the first Priory therapy-led residential programme for people seeking meaningful, sustainable recovery from addiction and related behaviours.

What you'll be doing





You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our service users wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As Sessional Therapist

,

you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of service users.Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to individuals dealing with substance use disorders. Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Use evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, motivational interviewing, or relapse prevention techniques. Monitor client progress, document case notes, and contribute to treatment reviews and care planning. Provide crisis intervention and emotional support while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.

What you'll bring to the role

Candidates should hold relevant professional qualifications in counseling, psychotherapy, or a related field, with proven experience working with individuals affected by addiction. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT or motivational interviewing is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, alongside the ability to build trusting therapeutic relationships, are required. Candidates must demonstrate the capacity to work independently, manage caseloads effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality. Registration with a professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP) is often preferred.
