We are a reputable further education provider seeking a skilled and experienced freelance tutor to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for our Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management students. As a valued member of our academic team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of tomorrow's business leaders.

Job Summary:

We invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our team as a freelance tutor, delivering Hospitality modules from Foundations year to post graduate level. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and interactive lessons, assessing student work, and providing pastoral support to ensure students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning materials.

- Plan and deliver lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and needs

- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work

- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and incorporate relevant examples into teaching practice

- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective programme delivery

- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to programme development

Essential Requirements:

- Master's degree in Travel Management and Tourism or related discipline (MBA, MSc, MA)

- PhD in related discipline (desirable)

- At least 5 years' experience in pedagogical processes, with a focus on Tourism or related subjects

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Experience of using virtual learning environments (VLEs) and digital technologies

- Commitment to delivering high-quality student experiences

Desirable Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

- Experience of working with diverse student groups, including international students

- Knowledge of curriculum and assessment requirements

- Experience of mentoring or coaching students

- Empathetic and supportive approach to teaching and learning

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
