Setting Out Engineer - Chichester
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Setting Out Engineer to join a busy construction project in Chichester, with an immediate start available.
Job Details:
Setting out and surveying for groundworks and structural elements Interpreting drawings and providing precise setting out for all site activities Working closely with site management and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and progress Carrying out quality checks and keeping detailed site records Assisting with technical problem-solving and ensuring works meet specifications and tolerances
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on construction projects (essential) Proficient with GPS, total station, and AutoCAD Strong understanding of engineering drawings and site procedures Valid CSCS Card SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid qualifications desirable Own equipment and transport preferred Excellent communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
