Job Description

Due to continued demand for our products, Cooneen is recruiting sewing machinists to join our skilled team at our Fivemiletown production site.

Responsibilities:

Sewing and manufacturing of garments on flatbed sewing machines. Should have the ability to perform basic machine maintenance, such as cleaning the machine and changing needles and threads. Have a keen eye for detail and use fault finding abilities to ensure all sewn products are completed to the client's specification, before being packed and dispatched. Have the ability to work well under pressure as you will be required to work towards targets and deadlines. To support overtime when the business requires it at busy times. Maximize efficiency by supporting Cooneen Lean continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

Essential

Previous sewing experience, preferably gained in a manufacturing environment 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics, Grade C or above OR significant time served in a similar role.

Desirable

Experience in using a single needle machine. Awareness of garment construction
