We are currently looking to recruit Local School Board members for SGS Pegasus school which is our special school.
We are particularly looking for:
Someone with governance experience who can hold the role of Chair of SGS Pegasus Local School Board.
Someone with leadership experience who can hold the role of Vice Chair of SGS Pegasus Local School Board.
Local School Board members who have experience within special schools.
Our Local School Boards play a key role in supporting our Trust Board to fulfil its purpose and to strengthen our Trusts governance. Local School Board members act as critical friends to school leaders, embracing and celebrating their school's uniqueness while holding leaders to account for the improvement of educational provision for their students.
We provide full training and support to help you thrive in these rewarding roles.
We are looking for people who have:
A strong commitment to education and improving outcomes for all students.
Experience in governance, leadership, and special schools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and constructively with others.
