We're looking for an experienced
SHEQ Manager
to join our dynamic team in Kent, supporting both our
Traffic Management
and
Green Services
operations.

The Role
As SHEQ Manager, you will lead and develop all aspects of our Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality systems and culture. This role is essential in ensuring that all operational and site-based teams are working safely, sustainably, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and manage SHEQ policies, procedures and strategies across the business.
Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
Lead SHEQ training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies on SHEQ matters.
Support operational teams in both traffic management and green services projects.
About You
Proven experience in a similar SHEQ role within construction, highways, utilities, or environmental services.
NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
Tech IOSH or Cert IOSH membership (desirable)
Knowledge of ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001).
National Highways Sector Scheme knowledge (desirable)
Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) knowledge (desirable)
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Causeway operating system knowledge / experience (desirable)
A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine commitment to best practice.
