Company Overview:

At Glasscraft, we specialize in glass processing and the manufacture of high-quality sealed units. We operate across three glass factories in Leeds, Wakefield, and Liverpool. We are currently looking to expand our team at our Leeds site by recruiting a SHEQ Operative to be a part of our Quality and Manufacturing Department. This role primarily involves working primarily indoors in our factory.

This successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Ensure manufactured glass products meet our quality standards. Carry out physical and visual inspections. Identify and report defects in products. Adhere to guidelines, processes and health and safety policies. Assist production where require. A target driven individual will be required for this role.

Qualifications and Skills:

High attention to detail Knowledge of quality control principles and practices Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently
The shift will be Monday to Friday on the day shift, which is 6:00am - 2:00pm

Starting rate will be 12.21 per hour.

Note: Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or in a similar role is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
