We're looking for a Shift Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on major UK infrastructure schemes. You'll be hands-on, ensuring work is delivered safely, accurately, and on time.
You'll be the eyes and ears on the ground, coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and supervisors to keep everything moving smoothly.
In this role, you'll:
Manage daily site activities and records
Carry out quality checks and technical supervision
Support safety briefings and toolbox talks
Liaise with engineers and planners to avoid delays
You'll need:
A degree or HNC in Civil Engineering
CSCS (essential); SMSTS or SSSTS a bonus
Experience on live construction sites
