44,990 + Any Shift Premium + Any Overtime

Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns:

3 on 3 off, Rotating Days and Nights

Shift times: 0545 - 1815 and 1745 - 0615

Location:

Stoke-On-Trent (ST4 4EX)



DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Shift Engineer to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:


Ensure all items of plant operate effeciently and safely through proactive and reactive maintenance Provide support and engineering expertise to the site operation through implementation of proactive planned preventative maintenance Carry out all engineering disciplines using best Health and Safety and engineering practices All plant is maintained in accordance with the approved maintenance schedules and training provided Provide a flexible approach and service to the operation to ensure that the sites targets are achieved. Provide support to second fixers where required

A minimum of City and Guilds or BTEC ONC in Mechanical / NVQ level 3 Mechanical Engineering Previous engineering experience Operationally be able to prioritise workload and tasks to maximise efficient operations Work in a pressurised environment ensuring all targets are constantly being monitored in order to be achieved Adapt to an everchanging environment and have a dynamic approach to process change
