We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Shift Leader to take ownership of daily operations and lead the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the team during shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations Maintain high standards in food preparation, presentation, and service quality Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times Plan and manage team deployment, assign tasks, and monitor performance to achieve operational goals Support training and development of new team members, coaching them to deliver excellence Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment across kitchen and service areas Assist with food production during busy periods, ensuring consistency and quality Communicate company policies and operational updates clearly to the team

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation or hospitality operations Previous supervisory or shift leadership experience within a fast-paced setting Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality Ability to multitask effectively and remain calm under pressure Excellent communication skills for team engagement and customer interaction Experience in coffee or barista roles is desirable but not essential Professional, positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding service
