Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff during shifts. Ensure all food preparation meets quality standards and adheres to food safety regulations. Assist in cooking and food production as needed, demonstrating culinary expertise. Provide training and support to team members, fostering their development in hospitality and service skills. Manage inventory levels, ensuring that supplies are adequately stocked for efficient operations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas. Collaborate with management to implement new procedures or policies aimed at improving service quality.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Proven supervisory experience with strong team management skills. Culinary experience is highly desirable, with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required. Experience in serving or barista roles will be considered an asset. A background in hotel operations may also be beneficial.
