We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, food preparation, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Train, mentor, and develop team members in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service skills. Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health regulations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience. Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Collaborate with management to implement new menu items and promotions effectively.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Previous experience in kitchen operations or barista roles is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers. A background restaurant settings is essential.
