Job Description

Based on the edge of Carmarthenshire, Gower View Foods is a dynamic, fast moving independent food business which specialises in the manufacture and packing of dairy based products. A number of well-established retail labels and also our own award-winning brand are packed on site.

The factory is a modern self-contained purpose built manufacturing unit situated on a dedicated food park, with easy access to the M4.

As part of our portfolio expansion, several exciting opportunities have recently arisen within Operations. These are full-time roles, based on site.

Current operational Management roles that we are recruiting for include:

A hands-on Production Shift Manager who will facilitate the attainment of the production plan. Take ownership of the day to day running of the production areas, ensuring that their team is upskilled and developed in accordance with the business requirements. Take ownership on shift of warehousing activities within the business. Maintaining site GHP / GMP standards as well as standards set by Customer Codes of Practice.
The role will entail engaging in manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.

Food manufacturing experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
