Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our busy pub in Soho. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role involves managing staff, adhering to licensing laws, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The Shift Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that all team members are motivated and performing at their best.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of the pub, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company policies. Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, deal complaints professionally, striving for resolution to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and profitability.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is essential. Minimum 5 years experience Strong hospitality experience with knowledge of managing and handling of cash and banking. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage positively with customers and staff alike. A background in pub management or pub operations is mandatory. Flexible working is a must (weekdays, evenings and weekends are required)
