SHIFT MANAGER - ROTATING SHIFTS - PLASTIC INJECTION MOULDING
Chess Plastics Ltd is a ISO9001 and IATF 16949 accredited plastic injection moulding manufacturer based in Droitwich supplying to the automotive, construction & leisure markets. Established in 1968 the company operates 24 hours a day from its 52,000 square feet site in Droitwich and employs approximately 80 staff.

Due to upcoming retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Manager for rotating shifts

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the principle duties are:

Ensure the highest HSE standards are maintained as per company procedures

Manage resource to ensure performance to plan

Manage operational KPI's - OEE, PPM's etc

Ensure shift complies with the company's 5S policy

Support and develop a continuous improvement culture

Technical Leadership

The ideal candidate would have the following attributes:

In depth knowledge of the injection moulding process

Supervisory experience

Flexible team player

Effective communicator

Please Note - Previous experience in plastic injection moulding processing is a requirement and the chosen candidate will be offered support with professional development.

Basic hours are 38 hours per week, enhanced rate for overtime applies

Hours of work

Week 1: Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 14:15 & Friday 06:00 - 11:00

Week 2: Monday - Thursday 14:00 - 22:15 & Friday 11:00 - 16:00

Week 3: Monday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:15 (33 hours)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
