Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee operations in our bustling kitchen environment, and front of house also, Barista skills needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food production, ensuring that our culinary team delivers exceptional meals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role is pivotal in fostering a collaborative atmosphere, guiding team members, and ensuring smooth service during shifts.

Duties

Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation. Lead and motivate the culinary team to achieve excellence in food production and service. Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with health regulations. Assist in the training and development of kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and skill enhancement. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies. Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house staff, to ensure seamless service delivery. Address any customer concerns or feedback promptly and professionally. Implement cost control measures while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within the food production or restaurant industry is essential. Strong background in culinary practices, with knowledge of various cooking techniques. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively, fostering a positive work environment. Experience in kitchen management within hotels or similar establishments is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead by example and inspire others. A passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
