We are currently seeking a motivated and flexible

Shift Supervisor

to join our friendly team at The Countryman Inn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

About the Role:

As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the management team with day-to-day operations. You'll be responsible for helping run various aspects of the business, ensuring service standards are met, and that both our guests and team members are well looked after.

Key Responsibilities:

Support management in the daily running of the venue. Take ownership of key areas such as stock control, health & safety, and KPI achievement. Help drive sales and deliver excellent customer service. Assist in training and developing team members to ensure high standards across all departments. Lead shifts effectively, maintaining a positive and productive work environment. Ensure every guest has a great time with us. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service, and compliance.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role in hospitality (preferred but not essential). Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and support others. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Flexibility with shift patterns - including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Some kitchen knowledge is a bonus, but full training can be provided.
