We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our bustling restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that both staff and customers have an exceptional experience. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing team performance, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient food production within the kitchen.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant during your shift.
Lead and motivate a team of cooks, bartenders, and service staff to deliver high-quality service.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
Assist in food production, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions as needed.
Train new staff members on operational procedures, food safety practices, and customer service expectations.
Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance team development.
Requirements
Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Experience in cooking and bartending is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
