Front of House Shift Supervisor

We are looking for a charismatic and competent individual to join the supervisor team at Gin and Juice Mumbles, Swansea. The role will offer significant opportunities for personal development and growth in a vibrant and dynamic environment.

We are looking for the following in a shift supervisor:

You need to be able to lead from the front and have a keen eye for detail regarding service and standards. You must be a highly organised and effective manager, being able to delegate up and down the ladder in order to manage the operations of a large multi-venue establishment. You MUST have experience working within a premium bar/restaurant environment and be comfortable in dealing with large volumes of custom and high-pressure environments. You must have a proven track record of work experience in other venues that require the same skill sets and show you have an in-depth knowledge of the operational requirements of a large bar/restaurant. You MUST be a good leader that possesses skills such as problem-solving, productivity and multitasking in an authoritative manner. You need to understand and be able to train and manage employees on exactly what it takes to run a high-end successful bar. You must have proven knowledge of stock upkeep, procedures and understand systems of ordering and par levels. You must have a vigilant approach to cash handling and financial aspects of the business. Finally, you must have a passion for the art of bartending and have a good skill set in such a profession already.

Requirements and criteria for the position :

We are looking for Full-time applicants who are available and flexible to work 5 out of 7 days a week. We are looking for an individual who can operate at high energetic standards consistently through late nights. You need to be willing to work in all areas of the venue and learn and adapt to the company's approach to bartending & method of operations whilst bringing new ideas and strengths to the team.
