Shipping and Facilities Assistant! ??
Are you ready to be an integral part of a dynamic team in the heart of London? Our client is seeking a Shipping and Facilities Assistant to support their operations in Kensington and Chelsea. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading organisation in the rare book industry!
About the Role:

• Contract Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week)

• Salary: 28,000 - 29,000 DOE

• Location: Conveniently located just 11 minutes from South Kensington train station

• Driving Required: Yes! A full UK driving licence is essential

What You'll Do:

• ? Packaging and preparing books and artworks for shipment

• ? Creating shipping labels and paperwork for domestic and international deliveries

• ? Logging goods in and out, maintaining accurate records

• ? Liaising with couriers and postal services for seamless delivery

• ? Driving local deliveries between our sites and clients.

• ?? Performing basic repairs and maintenance of our facilities

• ? Assisting in the preparation and hosting of events

• ? Flexibility to support during peak periods and staff shortages

Essential Skills:

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills:
While not essential, previous experience in a similar role and an interest in books or the collectibles market would be a plus! ???
