Shipping & General Office Administrator - 12 months Maternity Cover

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive
Shipping & General Office Administrator
to join our collaborative team for a
12-month maternity cover
contract. This is a broad and varied role, key to supporting the smooth daily operations of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
Arrange importation of components from Worldwide Suppliers, both by Air and Sea, ensuring compliance with global shipping regulations.
Arrange shipping of lasers and spare parts.
Import and export administration - ensuring all procedures comply with regulations.
Maintain Export & Import Entry Declarations (tracing documents where necessary).
Returning Non-conformance parts to Suppliers.
Sales Administration to include order processing and credit control.
Overseeing the Accounts Inbox, ensuring all inbound emails are allocated or actioned accordingly.
General Office Tasks - Answering the phones, filing, managing office supplies and laser manual printing.
Support with Service department administration, included collections and shipments of customer lasers, spare parts quotations and order processing.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in Export & Import activities and compliance
Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or in a team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience with Sage 200 or Sage Line 50 is advantageous

Hours of work Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm, Friday 8.30am - 1.00pm
