We are currently seeking either a skilled and experienced shoe repairer/cobbler or an individual whom we could train and develop to align with our needs.
As an Orthotic Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Following written instructions to carry out necessary repairs
Repairing or replacing soles, heels, zippers, lining and stitching
Repairing or replacing shoe parts such as eyelets, buckles and laces
Using machines and hand held tools such as grinders, hammers and knives
Cleaning and polishing footwear
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of workspace
Ensuring accuracy and compliance to quality standards.
Skills:
The ideal candidate would possess experience in shoe repair
If candidate is without desired experience, then must have desire to learn
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivery high quality work
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Good time management skills
Working hours are 38 hours Monday - Thursday. Option to choose from four shift patterns (each shift pattern is 9.5 hours per day)
Salary is dependent on experience and skill set.
