Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shoe Repair Technician to join our dedicated team at James Taylor & Son. Your role will combine the repair of existing footwear with the final soling and finishing of new bespoke shoes and boots. We will also expect you to develop a wider range of handmaking skills enabling you to make a substantial contribution to our production team.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and restorations on bespoke shoes/boots. Create and fit soles and heels to new bespoke footwear. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work. Maintain an organized workspace and keep tools in good condition. Communicate effectively with management regarding repair options and timelines.

Requirements

Proven experience in shoe repair or a related field is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity in repair/making techniques.

Pay: 24,000.00-30,000.00 per year
