Overview

Eriswell Lodge is looking for a Shooting Grounds Assistant to work alongside our existing team in the maintenance and operation of our outdoor shooting sports grounds. Please note that whilst grounds and horticultural maintenance make up a portion of this role, it is only a portion. Please contact us for more information if required.

General responsibilities include:

Working alongside our existing team to ensure adherence to appropriate Health & Safety protocols and procedures in conjunction with the department head.

Start and end of day procedures.

Grounds and building maintenance (painting, strimming, grass cutting)

Working alongside our existing staff team on the operation and maintenance of the clay target machines and other associated equipment.

Ensuring all our customers are following our safety policies whilst on the grounds.

Assisting in preparation of grounds for competitions and major championships.

Teleporter and other machinery driving/operation will be required however, full training will be provided.

Experience in a similar role and industry is desirable for this post

Salary will be based upon experience and age and is negotiable with the successful candidate.
