In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli products. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills and a passion for food, ensuring that all items are prepared safely and to the highest quality standards. 5AM Starting Required

Duties

Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, in accordance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitised. Assist customers with their selections, offering recommendations and upselling additional products when appropriate. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management to ensure the deli is well-supplied. Follow all food safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous; training will be provided as necessary. A background in culinary arts or food preparation is beneficial but not required. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
