Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic setting and have a passion for assisting customers.

This will be a temporary seasonal role 3/4 days per week.

Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday

Hours - 10-5pm can changing slightly depending on busy days. Overtime is available to cover holidays and sickness.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, including restocking shelves and arranging displays. Process transactions accurately using the till system and handle cash responsibly. Provide product information and recommendations to customers, enhancing their shopping experience. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any discrepancies. Participate in promotional activities and events to drive sales and engage customers.

Requirements

Strong communication skills in English Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage but not essential. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a passion for helping others. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if necessary.
