Summary

We are seeking a shop assistant to join our dynamic team in the East Neuk of Fife. This role is crucial in ensuring that we deliver top-quality seafood to our customers while upholding our company values. As a shop assistant, you will play an integral part in maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Source and prepare high-quality seafood and shellfish for sale Ensure all products meet food safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area Provide excellent customer service. Assist in inventory management and stock rotation Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations Stay informed about market trends and product availability Contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food production, particularly with seafood Strong knowledge of food safety regulations Culinary experience or relevant training preferred Skills in seafood preparation is a plus. Excellent communication skills for customer interaction Ability to work effectively in a team environment Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus. Passion for quality seafood and customer satisfaction.
