We are currently recruiting

Shop Assistants

for a

character goods pop-up shop

to be held in

Central London

from

November to January

.

If you have a passion for Japanese pop culture and enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers, this is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and help bring the store to life!

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers with sales and product enquiries Operate the till and handle transactions Replenish, organise, and tidy merchandise displays Support basic stock management Maintain shop cleanliness Assist with shop setup and takedown as required

Skills & Experience Required

Experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role Basic POS (till operation) skills Ability to restock and maintain a tidy shop environment

Requirements

Business-level English TOEIC score of 750+ preferred Minimum two years of professional work experience Interest in Japanese culture and character merchandise Must be legally eligible to work in the UK Able to commute to Central London

Preferred Qualities

Friendly, proactive, and able to build rapport with customers and team members Curious and eager to learn about the products and brand stories Strong communication and interpersonal skills A team player who works smoothly with others Flexible and willing to assist with setup and takedown as needed Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions carefully Japanese-speaking candidates are especially welcome

29 October - 7 November 2025

Operation:

8 November 2025 - 4 January 2026

Takedown:

5 - 7 January 2026

Opening hours (subject to change):

Weekdays: 10:30 am - 8:00 pm (9.5 hrs incl. 1-hr break) Saturday: 9:30 am - 8:30 pm (11 hrs incl. 1-hr break) Sunday: 12:30 pm - 7:30 pm (7 hrs incl. 1-hr break)

Shift options:

A: Weekday shifts (Mon-Fri) B: Weekend shifts (Sat & Sun) C: Weekday + Weekend shifts (full-time availability preferred)
Availability during Christmas and New Year's is highly valued.
