Shop assistant roles include but are not limited to
- Customer service: Answering customer questions, providing product knowledge, and helping customers find what they're looking for
- Stocking shelves: Receiving, unpacking, and processing orders..
- Maintaining the store in a clean and tidy state
- Performing other administrative duties e.g. maintaining the web shop and updating social media.
- Some small repair jobs e.g. puncture repairs, tyre fitting
Skills/Experience Required
Ideally candidates should have the following skills (training will be given where required):
- Cytech Level 2 or other proven equivalent
- Good technical knowledge of bikes, accessories and cycling in general
- Computer literate
- Excellent literacy and communication skills - face to face / on the phone/ emails etc.
- Personable & approachable
- Self motivated & proactive, happy to work alone and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational and time keeping skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varied tasks where necessary
Must be able to work Saturdays and late nights on Thursday during the Christmas period.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.21-12.57 per hour
