We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. Must be over 18 and be flexible. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, assisting with daily operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic setting and have a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment, ensuring products are displayed attractively. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till. Assist in restocking shelves and managing inventory levels. Provide product information and recommendations to customers. Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and care. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals. Participate in promotional activities and events as required.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions. Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage but not essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.34-12.51 per hour
