We are looking for a shop Assistant to join the team at our Fish & Chip shop in Montrose. As this is a customer facing role, candidates must be able to work in a fast paced & busy environment, have excellent customer service skills and a friendly manner.
Responsibilities include serving customers quickly and efficiently, taking telephone orders, stock rotation, till operation, and general daily cleaning duties.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred for this position, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Must have good communication skills, excellent time keeping and the ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team.
Weekly hours and shifts can be discussed at interview stage, general working times are a mix of either full shift 16.30pm to 21:30pm, or half shift 16:30 - 19:30. Flexibility on shift requirements will be discussed with successful candidates. Weekend availability is essential for this role, so please only apply if this can be fulfilled.
We are looking for someone to work 16+ hrs per week. Hourly rates of pay will be discussed dependent upon previous experience levels.
