Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organised environment. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and customers alike.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services they need. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, ensuring all items are well-displayed and stocked. Process transactions efficiently at the till, handling cash and card payments accurately. Answer customer queries regarding products, services, and promotions. Assist in receiving deliveries and restocking shelves as necessary. Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Requirements

This position is a contracted role, which means you will be expected to work a minimum number of set hours. If you're unavailable during your scheduled time, you will need to use your allotted holiday leave. Flexibility is an essential requirement for this role Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekend availability required A friendly disposition with a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Being flexible to work at our other shop locations increases your chances of getting more hours
